As you know, I left for my first job diving only days after finishing the commercial course. I was told a couple of times, during that trip, how well I was doing after just coming out of school, being ready to be in the field right away. O2 Therapy

The CSA and Workers Compensation Board (WorkSafe BC) requires all dive team members to be certified in first aid and the safe handling and administration of oxygen to care for a patient. This course certifies dive team members to meet that requirement. Topics include review of accident management protocols, oxygen therapy systems, calculation of oxygen supplies and travel time, and artificial respiration/ CPR with oxygen.
