Exploration, Excitement, Experience... They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water course is all about. This course is designed to follow the Open Water course. The Advanced Open Water course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under supervision of your PADI Instructor. Divesafe offers this course as part of the Commercial Prep Week
What you will learn:
Hone your skills by completing 5 adventure dives that introduce you to:
- Practical and physiological effects of deeper diving
- Underwater navigation using compasses, kick-cycles, natural landmarks and more
- Boat Diving entry and exit techniques, signals and special considerations
- Drift Diving techniques, equipment, and theory
- Wreck Diving techniques, equipment, and theory
- Night Diving techmiques, equipment, and theory
Pre-requisites:
- PADI Open Water or equivalent
- Must be at least 15 years of age
Required Equipment: Students will be required to bring or purchase full dive gear including:
- Drysuit*
- BCD
- Regulator set
- Mask, Snorkel & Fins
- Weights
- Bottom Timer or Dive Computer.
* Students wishing to purchase drysuits from Divesafe will need to submit measurement information 2 weeks prior to the course date.
